Juha Jokiharju Pro Hockey Academy was founded on the strong belief that skating in different game situations has changed during the last decade. We are not just talking about how to use your blade, WE OFFER SOLUTIONS TO YOUR SPECIFIC POSITIONAL NEEDS. Your personal skating needs will vary depending on your position and role. We don´t believe everyone should practice the same way.


Skating is just like a fingerprint, it´s personal. We skate with you, we analyze your skating on ice with slo-mo video and we will give you step-by-step guidance and tools to be at your best. We use also a lot of off-ice practice, such as rhythm training, slide boards, and physical training, as building muscle memory of correct skating and strong but yet relaxed and flexible muscle chains will bring amazing results in short time.

Physical training

We have had a successful cooperation with some of the leading service providers in the industry: RevolutionTraining (www.revolutiontraining.fi) provides state-of-art physical training and the testing our clients´ body composition, speed, endurance, and strength is done by Valmennus- ja Testauskeskus Kauppi (www.vte-kauppi.fi/in-english).

We feel that the mobility and core strength is essential to get results on ice.
